2009. Orchestra di Porta Palazzo : Orchestra di Porta Palazzo – FolkClub Ethnosuoni

created and conducted by Mauro Basilio (who also plays cello and guitar) and Elisa Fighera (who also plays violin and viola), Orchestra di Porta Palazzo was a musical-multicultural-social project based in Porta Palazzo, a district-marketplace in Turin (IT). Born in 2004 as a social workshop on music and theater, it develops in a professional big band with immigrant musicians from the whole world. In 2009 it produces an eponymous album, in 2010 Elisa Fighera and Mauro Basilio leave the project, short time after the Orchestra stops its activities.
